신제주해장국은 경북 영천의 지역 맛집으로 시작해 전국적인 가맹 사업을 펼치고 있는 제주식 선지해장국 브랜드다. 신제주해장국은 당일 도축돼 생산된 신선한 선지로 만든 해장국을 판매하는 브랜드로 고소한 맛과 부드러운 식감이 살아있는 선지를 선보이고 있다. 제주식 선지해장국을 전문으로 하는 브랜드인 만큼 월 1톤 가량의 선지를 사용할 정도로 높은 판매고를 올리고 있다는 것이 업체 측의 설명이다.
신제주해장국이 발표한 매출 책임제는 높은 매출에 대한 자신감으로 신규 출점한 가맹점이 매장 오픈 후 일정 기간 목표한 매출에 도달하지 못하면 본사가 마케팅 및 홍보 활동에 대한 비용으로 1000만 원을 지원하는 제도다.
브랜드 관계자는 "매출 책임제에 대해 높은 매출에 대한 분명한 노하우와 잘 갖춰진 운영 시스템을 가지고 있는 만큼 자신감을 갖고 준비한 제도이며, 설령 가맹점이 높은 매출을 달성하지 못하더라도 본사가 가맹점의 고민과 걱정을 분담하겠다는 의지가 담겨 있다"고 말했다.
성장 가능성이 높은 외식업 브랜드를 발굴하고 프랜차이즈 브랜드로서 성장할 수 있도록 인큐베이팅해 성장을 지원하는 외식업 애그리게이터 회사 SPBT는 신제주해장국의 매출 안정성과 흥행 가능성을 높게 평가해 업무 협약을 체결했으며 신제주해장국을 3대 제주도식 해장국 전문점으로 성장시키는 데에 목표를 두고 사업을 고도화하고 있다고 밝혔다.
신제주해장국 이기탁 대표이사는 "이번에 발표한 매출 책임제를 통해 신제주해장국의 창업을 고려하고 계신 가맹점주들의 창업 부담을 덜어주고, 창업 이후에도 더욱 자신감 있게 매장을 운영할 수 있도록 안전 장치를 마련하고 싶었다”며 “가맹 사업으로는 첫 발걸음을 떼는 브랜드이지만 지난 11년간 운영해온 브랜드인 만큼 그간 쌓아온 운영 노하우와 운영 시스템을 기반으로 전국에서 신제주해장국을 만날 수 있도록 노력할 것”이라고 말했다.
