백채김치찌개가 인천논현점을 오픈하며 전국 260호점을 돌파했다고 6일 밝혔다.
업체 측에 따르면 백채김치찌개는 김치찌개를 전문으로 하는 브랜드로 70% 이상이 3년 이상 장기간 운영 지점이며 안정적인 운영을 강점으로 2013년부터 현재까지 10년간 꾸준한 성장세를 보여주고 있다.
브랜드 슬로건을 ‘김치찌개는 역시 백채김치찌개!’로 내세우며 김치찌개 전문 브랜드로서의 입지를 다지며 최근 인천논현점, 고양삼송점 등 수도권 상권 뿐만 아니라 밀양시청점, 진주혁신도시점 등 지방상권에 입점하며 전국적으로 활발하게 확장을 전개하고 있다는 것이 업체 측의 설명이다.
또한 백채김치찌개는 올해 10월 로드샵 뿐만 아니라 강원 홍천에 위치한 대명비발디파크 내에 오픈했다. 이처럼 백채김치찌개가 빠른 확장을 할 수 있는 배경에는 손쉬운 운영 시스템으로 인력 채용에 대한 가맹점의 부담을 줄이며 외식업계가 겪고 있는 큰 문제점을 해소한 덕분으로 예상되며, 현재 외식업계가 겪고 있는 명확한 문제점을 해결해 260호점을 돌파했다고 업체 측은 밝혔다.
백채김치찌개는 가맹점과의 상생을 위해 본사에서 직접 주요 식재료를 생산 관리하며 식재료의 급격한 가격 변동에 대비하고 있다. 특히 백채김치찌개에서 주재료로 사용되는 김치와 고기의 경우 각각 연간 850톤, 700톤 이상을 자체 생산 및 유통하고 있어 매년 외부 영향에 흔들리지 않고 가맹점에 안정적인 공급을 책임지고 있다.
김지환 심플맨 브랜드 총괄팀장은 “백채김치찌개가 10년 동안 꾸준한 성장을 이어가며 전국의 백채김치찌개가 안정적으로 자리 잡은 원동력은 프랜차이즈 본사와 공장, 그리고 가맹점주 등 모든 이들의 상생과 노력으로 만든 성과”라며 “올해 260호점 돌파에 이어 270호점을 확정해 브랜드 확장에 박차를 가하고 있고, 다수의 해외박람회에 참석하는 등 백채김치찌개가 대한민국의 대표 프랜차이즈로서 우뚝 설 수 있도록 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있으니 앞으로도 백채김치찌개의 행보를 기대해달라”고 말했다.
